AEM Parity issue?
Went to connect to my AEM ems today, and it says ecu offline?
Not sure on why...I've connected to it many times..
Same cable/laptop.
I know or @ least think it's not the laptop, as I can connect to my uego 19-1 gauge just fine.
When I connect & turn the key it usually connects up, but now it says parity error....?
Car runs fine..no problems there..
thoughts?

what cable are you using?
dont connect the cable until the aem pro is up and running and the key is on.

once you setup the AEM to output to the serial gauge you lose the ability to just connect whenever you want, a little gay, freaked me out the first time I tried to connect to my AEM after adding the gauge.
once you add the gauge the easiest way that works every time for me is to connect your laptop to the AEM while it's still off, start the AEM Pro software and tell it to connect, now turn on power to the car and it should connect no problem.
