I bet your cams are not sync'd to TDC.

does fuel pump turn on (can you hear it cycle on key-on?) what kind of fuel pressure do you have?

If it does not turn on - I probably know why........
If it does i will go further into it.

I am having a similar issue i believe in that the car will not start.. it cranks, but it will not fire up, and when i turn the key to the on position, i don't hear anything coming from the fuel pump behind me.. could you please give me some insight as to what may be wrong? It started up just fine yesterday evening, and this morning, I installed a Modifry Coolant Temperature Gauge fix and now it will not turn over.. i even disconnected the "power supply" line on the modifry unit and it still won't fire up...

EDIT: nevermind, problem fixed... i made a stupid mistake and spliced the wrong wire

i had a problem in the past that was similar to this. EMS would not connect until it was in the run position, fuel pump did not prime.

it was the 15amp ACG fuse. check that.

Ok, my car is still in the local shop for 3 WEEKS NOW!!!
all i wanted was for them to change the HG ang Intake manifolg gasket.
I told them that im not in hurry and if they finish in a week or week and a half it will be fine, but its double the time now.
They are giving me B/S that they changed, the gaskets, with apr headstuds, and put everything back together and of course changed the timing.

All of this was done in the bigginig of first week, and since then they didn't even touch my car, saying they try to start it, and it wont start, so they moved to another cars in line. they said its must be AEM problem so onece they figure out whats wrong then they are going to work on it
(how can they figure out whats wrong if they are not trying?)

Now I know they have no clue with AEM, and I shouldn't have taken my car there, but is to late, its already there. I knew this owner of that shop for sometime and was cool when I came for parts and also owns S2000 so I trusted him. What should I do? I dont want to wait any longer, (plus I missed my apointment with AMS for tunning and next available time is end of april)

I am thinking to give him time till this saturday, and if its not ready, then just go and pick it up and tow it to a better shop.

Any idea how I should take car of this?
Thanks Guys, John

If his cams are not at TDC I don't think it will start with the stock ECU either, which he says it does.

Why not have AMS work on it instead of them doing just the tune? They can diagnose the problem, fix it, and then tune it.
