Default AEM UEGO wideband

I have an aem ems and I just installed my uego wideband. It doesn't work at all, like it's not receiving any data. The gauge it self light up but there's no numbers on the screen.

I plugged the sensor on my exhaust (2e O2), and I had 4 wires to connect on the gauge (red = positive, white = C16 on the computer, black = ground, blue = not connected(aux)).

Can somebody help me out with this ? The gauge is brand new !

thx

Did you tap a new hole in the header, test pipe, or downpipe for the AEM sensor? If so disconnect the white wire and see if it works, if not check the sensor itself.

I actually disconnected the white wire and it doesn't change anything. I tryed to unplug the other O2 sensors and it doen's change anything also.
The gauge and sensor are Brand new so I though maybe I plugged something wrong..

Check the connection to the O2 sensor(the big black plug with the grey snap cover). Even with this disconnected, the gauge should read 14.7
All of your wires are correct, but I would tell you to check your ground wire. Make sure it is making contact(you can use one of the bolts for the hood latch if you want). Check the small screw hole on the back, it is a dial. Make sure it is set to the correct position.
I am guessing you just removed the factory o2(one before the cat?), and replaced it with the uego?

The O2 connection is alright, i just check again. I just connect the ground somewhere else and same thing, I see no numbers. When I play with the screw behind the gauge it doesn't change anything also. I did a hole after the cat to put it there. Maybe I did not plug it right.. can you show me where should be the ''C17''.. maybe I did a mistake

Ok, don't take this the wrong way, but do you have the owners manual? If not, I can email you a PDF copy of it, just PM me your email addy.

Here is a picture of the C connector on the ECU. It should not make a difference for your gauge to light up, but at least you can double check your wiring.

I had a similar problem with my wideband controller (not gauge). The grey and orange four pin connector had one of the pins pushed in and wasn't connecting.

Took ages to diagnose.

So you have an AEM Gauge type UEGO?

If so, unplug the O2 sensor. The AEM should show roughly 14.7:1 afr. If it does not, start troubleshooting your wiring. Did you use taps or soldered connections into some beefy wires?
