Default aem wideband uego controller install questions

Hey guys I was planning on installing my aem wideband uego gauge tomorrow. I had a few questions before I tackle it. I had read through the write up on here and over all it seems fairly simple. Will removing the oem 02 sensor cause any problems? I will have an aem ems installed on Tuesday, so I know it'll be fine then, but how about before then? Will everything work without connecting the blue wire(serial output) white wire (0-5v output)? Once the aem ems is installed the white wire will just need to be connected to it and then the ems will have to be calibrated for it? Thanks guys, sorry for all the questions.

I can see that the white wire can plug into the stock harness to work with the stock ecu. Do I have to do this? I don't care if there is a code. I will not be driving the car expect to the tuner on Tuesday. I just want everything to be ready and all the tuner would have to do is plug into the ems and calibrate. I also don't want any problems going to the tuner.

Anyone?
