Default Aero340 and ID1000

Putting in some Id1000's and an aeromotive 340 today and taking it to the dyno monday to get fine tuned.

One big thing ive been wondering is that when I add the direct relay for power to the Aeromotive, will the new fuel voltage change my fuel parameters much? Oppsed to the OEM line before the relay

Im running ID1000s and Areomotive 340. I just installed them as is, without any relay and Im not seeing any fuel problems at over 14psi/400+whp

Good stuff! I was curious as to how much the pump output will change when I do add in the relay.

Your fpr will regulate the pressure. Unless you were running low on fuel pressure up near redline before the tune should stay about the same.

Ok the aeromotive said to reverse the polarity. I am upgrading from a walbro 255 so I flipped the negative and positive on the power harness and that should do it right?

When it comes to polarity there are 2 different pumps. I believe one has a white cap and the other a red cap and the polarity depends on which top it has. Double check with aeromotive think there is something on their website about it.

It might be worth it to check the voltage at the fuel pump at high load pressure. On my STi and SHO, voltage would drop as the pressure went up and that was with a 255 pump. Now both cars have a 320 lph pump and are hardwired with a relay. On my buddies WRX, we saw voltage dropping when we ramped up to 24+ PSI and added a hardwire kit and the AFR richened up in high load/OL to where I had to raise the injector scalar a bit. All cars mentioned are on E85 and ID1000's.
