Default AFE filter for Comptech SC

I need to know where to buy a AFE filter for my Comptech SC. I did a search and got some part numbers, but when I search for them on the AFE site nothing came up. Can someone help me.

I bought mine through Midstates Inc. (http://midstatesinc.com/). They're one of AFE's authorized online dealers, and were great people to work with. I called them up and gave them the part number, and within a month it got to me. (It took a month because the filter was on backorder at the time.)

Why is this one better than the one supplied by CT?

Well, personally I prefer the cotton-type filter over the foam-type that Comptech provides...plus, over time the Comptech filter that I had just got so gunked up and so brittle that I was afraid of it eventually disintegrating. Furthermore, the AFE filter is the only one out there that fits perfectly in the stock Comptech airbox and velocity stack.

I remember GaryPhd (I think that was his screenname) dynoed before and after, and it showed some gains...nothing THAT substantial, though.

Considering how many of us have Comptech superchargers and intake boxes, and with Comptech about to close its doors (Click here for more info), I think it's a good thing that AFE has a filter like this in case anybody ever needed a replacement.

It's a tight fit in the Comptech airbox and velocity stack, but it works...been using mine for 6+ months, and it works fine...
