These arent for power on the CTSC setup, I was aiming for improved filtration over the foam filter.

It appears to this guy it helps in producing power, but it doesn't add up just adding a filter (temp could be different on dyno etc).

Ya, there could be many factors and a 1-2 hp gain is definitely within the margin of error.

I have a new AFE filer on the way that is slightly larger and will not fit in the CT box, it will still hook into the plate and looks great inside the engine bay. Only pain in the ass is when I was the car, some water leaks onto it and washes the oil off. Im gonna see if I can find a shield or have someone fab one outta CF that looks nice!

I dont think it would really add power, but a larger intake pipe and a plate with a larger internal diameter to further reduce turbulence.

Cheers

Here are the diameters to the filter that fit perfectly into the CT Icebox, the mounting is alittle off becuase I dont have the CT brackets, waiting for those to come in the mail.

So it would be ok for them to host a site? pay for it and let you use it for free? Exactly

Yeah I use the AFE filter without the comptech box as well. I've been meaning to fab up an aluminum divider behind the filter though.

Call me crazy but that Inverted AFE filter did make a difference in my mind. I had K&N one from stock box, temporarilly used that instead then I got the obnoxiously big AFE and she feels much better in mid range and up top.

here are some part numbers i found.

AFE-24-55507 5-1/2"F x 7"B x 4-3/4"T x 7"H
AFE-24-55505 5-1/2"F x 7"B x 4-3/4"T x 5"H
AFE-24-91031 5-1/2"F x 7"B x 5-1/2"T (IM) x 7"H
AFE-24-55506 5-1/2"F x 7"B x 4-3/4"T x 6"H
AFE-24-91021 5-1/2"Fx7"Bx5-1/2"T(IM)x6"H

might go with the last one..at 6" inverted top, it should fit fine right? compared to the tight fitting 7" filter.
