Default air pump hose?

Hi guys, can you guys tell me what to do with this hose?
I just installed a CTSC with UR intercooler, and I'm not sure what to do with this hose.
Maybe just block it?
Thanks!

here is a better pic.

If It is the air pump hose it would normally go to the Aftercooler on the CT kit, but since you dont have one you just block it off or remove it, however there is a catch, if your not running a full stand alone like AEM you will trigger a CEL. You can eliminate this with the EMS. If your running a piggy back or stock CT managment you are in trouble. You need to figure out how to run this hose to your intake somewhere so you dont trigger a CEL. Or lose the FMIC and find a AC. Or maybe call CT Engineering and see if they have a fix for you, I dont know how the guys ran the air pump back in the old days before the AC was introduced. There has got to be an inexpensive fix for you. You might try doing a search on some old threads. RT, Jerry Peterson all played with this kit in the early years, do a search on them. Good luck.

in the 2nd picture, which I got from Ultimate Racing web, the hose is disconnected and left there. I'm not sure if they took the picture before or after they finished the work. I asked UR, and he told me it's ok to leave it disconnected if the hose is from the airpump.

I'm wondering if I can connect this hose to the intake tube right before the blower.
Any ideas?

I'll do some more search too.
Thanks

^^^ Try unhooking it and see if you get a CEL after a few days, if not your golden. But I know guys have had issues with this. As an experiment tying it into the line before the blower is worth trying afterward. Cant hurt.

yeah, I was reading the 3 page thread about the air pump.
I'm guessing that it will throw a CEL with stock ecu.
I'll try several ways and see what happens.
I'll keep this updated for later info.

^^^ You could always just drill and weld a bung for it on your intake/intercooler pipe if necisary.

Now, I'm interested in removing the whole air pump deal and finding a solution for CEL.

If that is the hose tat used to go to the intake, all it does is pull in fresh air, put a breather filter on the end or on th pump and call it good. This will not make any difference from the original setup.

If you look close you can see that the hose no longer goes to the suction pipe.
