Default Angled oil filter adapter, need some help.

I´m looking for a 45 or 90 degr adapter, anyone using this? Would be a perfect way to clean up the engine bay and get rid of the oil lines, would clear the manifold without a problem.

Here´s a pic to explain:

Sorry for all the questions but have a feeling that it might help other members as well.

Nice find. I would have used that if I knew about it.. normal oil filter relocation kits suck. Do they make it in Honda/metric sizing?

That´s why I need you guys, JEGS and Summit should have some but my English suck. Sometimes the adapter itself work if you modify/change the thread size.

Not 100% here but I think we have M20x1.5, found a nice one yesterday using 3/4", will buy that one (used for 20 bucks) and see if I can make it work.

Like the middle or last one.

Maybe FBM can machine a bunch?

yeah you only need to make it work on the motor side, just use whatever filters fit on the other side, doesn't have to be a honda filter. I ran filters for a Ford V6 on my kit.

I would buy one with a smaller thread(to the block) so you can drill it out and tap it to the Honda's M20 X 1.5 thread.
Go do it and get back to us. Very nice find.

Bought one today, will start working monday, will keep you updated. Will go Honda threads since I want to keep it simple and according to many the S2K filter´s the only good option.

Thanks guys and Happy New Year! (Go Cerrone and Alex)

If I did this right you should be able to tap out the bolt that holds the oil filter adapter to the block from 3/4" thread to M20 X 1.5 thread.

0.75 inch = 19.05 millimeter
And then you could run a big filter like this
http://www.wixfilters.com/filterlook...asp?Part=51515
and if that filter isn't big enough they make a 2 Qt. filter for 3/4 X 16 thread.

I run a very large filter(over twice as big as the stock S2000 filter) on my "S" and this would work real good on my car.

Thank's for finding that adapter,
ROD
