I would just rattle can it black.

 

Try a local shop but down here in AZ Full-Race does it.

 

you can also use radiator paint

 

it wont be as clean as if it were to be anodized. and yes its mainly for show lol thanks....

It's actually pretty hard to screw up anodizing so I would just look up a local shop. Most places charge by the batch so if you have anything else that will fit in their tank (find out the dimensions) you might want to do that now as well. You definitely want to anodize it and not paint it as anodizing actually helps heat transfer. Do it black though, since the intercooler consists of different types of aluminum for the weld, end tank, and core any color will turn out different shades on the different materials.

I just used a flat black spray paint . I researched and makes no difference as far as affecting the ability of it too cool the air.

just going to get chipped eventually
