Default Another Check Engine Light

The check engine light came on after my mechanic replaced the belts and pulleys since the bearings were making noises. He says the light is coming on since the engine is getting more air from more efficient air flow. Is this possible? I called BS when told me that. In either case, am I going to have to re-map my ECU?

Does Vortech have any known issues with tension becoming loose?

Thanks for your input!

i'm guessing it's a big deal if youre getting a lean afr code, since the stock sensor is not wideband.
