Well now that I'm FI I guess I'm going to be in for this eventually as well given I'm running the stock diff.

Just so that I know what I'm in for, what is the cost range for replacing the diff with a stock one or upgrading so that
it can handle the power I'm putting out (387whp, 260wtq) without having to worry about it again. I do not launch the
car and might do 1 or 2 track days a year, but for the most part daily driving is mellow....sometimes.

that aint too much power to worry about. though i shouldnt say that as people have broken it on that power. for the most part, you will prolly be fine. its launching it that really breaks the diff. if you stay away from that, and dont hop the car in first gear when you get on the go pedal, then it should be fine.

if i was you, i would just wait till it breaks, then put a stocker back in for 500-800 bucks. a stronger diff is 1500-2500+.

either way, if you want a built one, puddydaddy is the shiznit.
