Scheduled dyno time to get the tune tweaked a couple weeks from now. Will post it when I get it.

I drove the car on a 100 mile joy ride Saturday on a twisty road without issues. But drove it around to run errands yesterday. My first time just zipping around town in 0-40 mph traffic. First gear is just so ridiculous. What once was kind of the low point of the car getting it up and moving now makes me giggle. Can't wait to see what the extra HP from the tune will do.

Since you are still on the stock clutch watch out for clutch slip.

If that starts happening it will get progressive worse.

It may be a better bet to leave the timing curves where they are until you get an after market clutch installed.

When you take it to your tuner if he needs to give me a call and ask a question feel free to give him my cell #.

I was wondering how someone could get around a new clutch with the same kit.

I am curious to see a dyno post and the numbers produced with the mods and tuning solution used.

The clutch has not slipped so far, but I don't thrash the car. (given I only have 150 miles on the kit) But Wlaurent posted in one of these threads that he has many miles on his with stock clutch. I have never once did a launch and have owned it for about 6 years now. I take off easy in first and then hit it at worst, and shift as sedately as possible at redline. I never keep the revs up in between shifts to "power shift" .

Not saying mine won't fail, but if I get 3000 miles out of it, that gets me to next year. I am ordering the ACT HD but I will just keep it with me for when the time comes.
