Don't need a built engine or meth for his goals at all either.
Didn't see him mention anywhere that he was going to use stock injectors as that is obviously not possible.
Agree, (I thik we are saying about the same thing)

1. he can have / use both high or low boost...provided...he adds full engine management & tuning, that could be the "magical switch"...BUT....once you do that you are outside of the "plug-n-play" relm, but what's the point of both
2. for any kind of higher boost levels he will / should also invest in injectors, and spend time on the Dyno
3. the higher HP gols mentioned ARE possible without water/meth or E85, but NOT without additional investment of parts, tuning, and cost over and above which ever route he chooses SC or Turbo.

These threads make me laugh.

If u want 450 on the SOS kit ur gonna need the 1200 blower and other stuff. And I doubt u hit it on pump gas. E85 def will hit it.

Pruning is what I would choose. U will def hit your goals. And no need for low and hi boost setting. If u want boost step on the gas. Tune it for 450 whp and then only dip into it when u wanna go fast .

If i want low boost or better gas mileage, i have a secret that works 100% of the time:

Dont mash the throttle.

I daily a turbo kit and have for two years and have driven from socal to norcal round trip multiple times with no issues. Turbo can be as reliable as you want it to be.

I agree. If you take the time to do it right you will be ok.

Not bad at all. I haven't seen any turbo'd cars besides greddy with lots of miles. I put a ton of miles on my car so would still be very nervous to go turbo. Just since a year ago from march I put over 25k miles on my supercharged S. Thats more than most turbo guys ever put on their car lol.
Once I see some 400whp+ turbo S2000's getting like 75K+ miles all boosted without stuff breaking I might think more seriously about switching as I would definitely love that powerband much much more than my sc'd powerband.

My main question would be does the OP have the tools/space/time & ability do major work on the car himself? WIth turbo kits you will be working on the car a lot, good kit or not.
Assuming there are no issues with the SOS kit you literally only need 1 socket & 1 box wrench to adjust the belt when needed.
