Ive had a turbo for a few months now with no issues. From what Ive seen, if your not pushing it hard and drive it normally, the car is pretty much the same as stock and gas mileage is the same.

I use mine as a daily driver with 141k miles on the odometer. Still running strong. Just have to check your oil every 2 weeks just like you would stock. Going to auto X it next week so Ill let you know if it holds up.

Not bad at all. I haven't seen any turbo'd cars besides greddy with lots of miles. I put a ton of miles on my car so would still be very nervous to go turbo. Just since a year ago from march I put over 25k miles on my supercharged S. Thats more than most turbo guys ever put on their car lol.
Once I see some 400whp+ turbo S2000's getting like 75K+ miles all boosted without stuff breaking I might think more seriously about switching as I would definitely love that powerband much much more than my sc'd powerband.

Yep, most turbo guys don’t seem to be DD for some reason. I average 20k a year on my car typically. I have a buddy that went from a DD Greddy turbo kit, to upgrading with a GT30, started having intermittent problems with that car from shit vibrating loose, to coil pack issues, to random hot start issues etc, he would be asking me for trouble shooting or wrench help every other week for a wile it seemed. Then he decided he needed a second car. Now he's upgrading to a GT35. That should help, can’t wait
My kit is an upgraded GT30 greddy with no issues since it was installed by myself but I used stage 8 locking bolts on pretty much everything. Drive the car 20 miles round trip to work every single day.

Maybe you can help my buddy then, becuase i'm tired

Damn, wish I had a 20 mile commute. Mines 80 miles roundtrip

If things are rattling loose, tell him to use the stage 8 lockers, they're fantastic. I'm probably pushing a decent amount more boost than he is also.

I'd kill myself in Socal if my commute was 80 miles, plus E85 doesn't really get very good gas mileage....

I'll mention it.

He's running 16psi, no E85 here in WA. We use water/meth injection.

Interesting, I'm running a little under 15 on E85 and car pulls hard and runs fantastically.

How would spinning the 1200 to its maximum psi and then bleeding it off at 13 psi change reliability?
