LOL, the driver just walks away at the start like, "F--- this, let this bitch burn."

Then at 1:52 he's walking away again looking like he's talking to himself like a crazy person. And yeah it didn't seem like the best reaction time from the workers, but the main goal is to keep everyone safe and unharmed.

So more bad news. I have a friend that just recienlty installed a turbo kit on his honda S2000. Had a shop do all the install and tune it. Took about a month to finish, and the first day he gets it back, drove it 50 miles and his engine bay caught on fire. He told me he saw sparks and then flame! Luckily for him just about an hour before this all happen he had another friend give him a fire extinguisher.

He took the car back to the shop, and they are coating everything as well as making him a new heat sheild. Turns out he melted a vacuum line.

Right after the install.

Right after the fire.

He melted a vacuum line and that was enough to catch the bay on fire? Is he sure it wasn't his oil feed/return or his oil filter or something? I've heard of people overboosting because they melt their vacuum line to their wastegate, but I haven't heard of a fire caused by a melted vac line.

Yeah i have a hard time believing a vacuum line melting started a fire? must have been some sort of oil line.. maybe spilled oil in the engine bay ended up catching on fire?

No Idea. I assumed he melted something electrical, since he said his gauge was flickering and acting up before he saw the fire, But he told me that's what the shop told him.
