the only scary thing about meth injection is that the intake manifold isnt designed to distribute fuel and its something else to break!

heres how i wouldrank it by cost and problems assicoated

1. E85
2. torco in 93 octane going to 98.5
3. meth injection

i run water injection now. but did not add any timing cause of it. i use it to just cool down the iat from the super heating they get from the roots blower.

meth injection to me is scary since joeyballs had a problem where aem meth controller thought it was runnign right, but pump wasnt kicking on. i dont need that aggravation. sticking torco in my fuel tank, and adding some timing on a nitrous map that i can switch to in the car with a flip switch would be the shiznit.

oh i need to fill up and dont have any torco, just leave switch off.

i am tempting to try it. i was hoping some others on here had used it before.

have you looked into touline?

i have experimented with meth injection using simple and complex ways to tune it.. none with consistently reliable results that i would sell to a customer.

the setup that worked the best used a solid state relay controlled by an extra injector output and a pretty big nozzle. I used a standard switched output for the switched 12v side of the relay and the ground side obviously wired to the extra injector output. i could tune the amount of alcohol with the individual injector trim and used knock control mapped only to that specific injector output to add more if there was any knock. we did have a hobbs switch after the pump so that it would kill the boost if pressure was lost.

It was almost full proof, except the relays we were using didnt last very long, so we scrapped the project, those things get expensive.

for what its worth, kennebell's company got back to me. says there 10 gallon 93 to 16 oz torco was tested by a company they sent it to and came back 100 octane.

they use this on there kits when people want to use the race gas mode. pretty cool stuff. just for ths shits and giggles, might try some later. theres a local place that sells it.

I assume wadzii meant toluene which you can buy from any local paint supply store. I used that as an octane booster a few years ago in my WRX. I believe it's ~114 octane.

I'm not sure how the pricing would compare to Torco though, but you might wanna check it out.

Yeah I have used xylene, which is slightly higher octane than toluene. It works pretty well.
