Default Any experience with Darton Dry Sleeves?

So I am down a considerable amount on one of my cylinders for compression and am starting to look into what I want to do for a budget friendly rebuild. I know obviously a traditional AEBS or Darton mid/wet sleeve is the best on the market but it costs a pretty penny to have them purchased and installed. My first initial thought was to do the expensive mhale stock frm sleeve piston but regardless the car will most likely need a cylinder bore and it gets sketchy depending on who you talk to. Also the selection of compatiable parts is not limitless like in a traditional B or K series. My engine builder and Honda mastertech suggested honing out the stock FRM sleeves and doing the $300 Darton Dry Sleeve. I know that is what the FRM lined H series guys do alot. That way we can purchase just a normal reasonable BC H-Beam rod or another good budget rod and a 11.0:1 CP forged piston. Just looking for something reasonable priced that can hold up to 700/750hp max with more flexability than the FRM stuff.

Anyone on here have any experience with these sleeves and what can I expect for a good reliable power range. The car is at 500whp right now and should be in the 650whp range in the near future.

Thanks for any imput you guys and girls can offer!

I know some guys who have used them. They put down around 700hp or so with no problem.

I have the darton dry sleeves in my motor. About 2,000 miles on them no issues at all.
