I'm currently supercharged. I have a buddy with a built turbo s2000, and he's having all sorts of trouble. But that's not to say turbo cars are trouble. I want to go turbo eventually!!! I haven't been in a turbo S2000 yet, but my 355whp S2000 is not that fast in a straight line.

Why would anybody regret having a faster, more powerful, more gas efficent car for? Turbos are far superior to centrifugal super chargers

Some people don't want the headache of the turbo.

...Or the powerband and throttle character. If you value the delivery character of the stock motor, but want a lot more of it, then the Centrifugal SC is the solution. Very tractable and predictable power for street and road course racing.

Bingo. That was my reason.

I only hate the turbo heat but turbo install has lots of potential for power (of course if you are dyno queen).
On the other hand, supercharger develop less heat and has linear power. You will fell the power in every gear.
Engine power across the band is what matters.

In regards to Honda s2000 forced induction install, I rather use a supercharger because of the anemic torque.

lotus7racer, could you clarify your statement regarding the S2000's anemic torque? A centrifugal supercharger won't help the aforementioned issue; however, a properly size turbo would.
