full race did mine when i bought the kit for 100, came out real nice, i remember someone saying the cooling effect will be slightly increased by annodizing, dunno if its true

well ive had both the same aluminum parts powdercoated and one anodized and the anodizing was cheaper then powdercoating it. Just my experience...

I just spraypainted mine. Not the best option but it's cool where I live now. I think I will have it painted with radiator paint if I ever get a new intercooler.

I don't see how it would effect the cooling issue because all it really is just a dye chemical and there isn't really a coating on it like paint is which adds material to it. This is the way I see it. I used to work at a paint company along time ago that they did anodized too. It would be interesting if some one really did a test on this.

anodizing your intercooler will have no negative effect on cooling. When you anodize your intercooler you're adding an extremely thin insulating layer of aluminum oxide/hyrdate which is then dyed. If you want to be technical you are also increasing your infrared radiation but neither the insulating layer or added radiation will have a measurable effect on the intercoolers effeciency

btw any anodizing shop should be able to do this for you for $50-$100 there is nothing special about an intercooler that you need to find a special shop for other than maybe the size of the tank they will need to dip it in.

Another option, if you are really concerned with IC efficiency: you can get a thermal dispersant coating done by Performance Coatings. It will actually improve upon a bare IC.
