Quick Q and info for eManage Ultimate users
I have been running an Ultimate for the past 6+ months with no issues. Recently I upgraded to V2.13 (including flashing the EMU to V2.13) and started having lots of problems - rough acceleration, surging at low RPM under boost, etc.. Eventually got a CEL thrown by the PCM (5 actually) and it came back Random Misfire, and misfire on cyl 1 through 4.
Reverted back to V2.12 and all the problems went away.
Now my EMU is a D version, and there is now an E version out. Not sure if the V2.13 would work fine on an E version EMU or if it would have the same problems.
So here are the Q's:
Anyone else have a similar problem?
Anyone with a E version EMU that came with a Greddy kit?
You may want to stick with V2.12 until later - Greddy commonly releases untested firmware, only to pull it back due to customer issues (this happened with V2.11 also).
In case you do not know your HW version (B,C,D,E):
Version B EMU - s/n 1000-1999
Version C EMU - s/n 2000-4999
Version D EMU - s/n 5000-6999
Version E EMU - s/n 7000-???? (unconfirmed - there may be some E versions with 6XXX range s/n also).

Pull the board out the case.
Remove the harness side Allen bolts
Remove the two screws on the bottom of the case
And the board should slide right out.
With the harness plug to your right looking at the top of the board in the lower Right side of the board you should see a Letter (A), (B),

Wlaurent, this seems like the problem i had also. My misfire was pretty obvious under all conditions i.e. cold engine, warm, high/low rpm, boost/no boost. I didnt realize what was causing the problem within the emanage but i knew it was emanage since as soon as i'd disconnect it the misfire would be gone @ idle.
The problem would go away when the unit was disconnect, or when i removed all maps. The map you were kind enough to give me wlarurent also gave me a misfire. Weird thing is, i eventually got so fed up with the emanage ultimate that i removed it, and installed the black box, fmu, and map clamp to just go back to stock vortech. A quick test ride and i realized i had a 16:1 A/F ratio @ WOT @ 6.5k rpms rediculous!!!!! so, i figured i'd deal with a misfire rather then risk hurting my motor w/ such rediculous a/f. threw the EMU back on for strickly A/F and map clamp...and the misfire was GONE. no settings changed on the hardware or software, just unplugged the unit for a few days while out of car, and threw it back in, misfire was gone.
p.s. when i had a misfire my emu was getting ignition input errors, did yours record any of those?

I reflashed mine (SN 7745) to 2.13 and no issues here.
Jellyfish - strange that you misfire went away by just disconnecting it for a few days.
