You either need to do one of the following:

-- Check for boost leak / belt slippage
-- Rev past 5000 rpms
-- Buy a car with more torque

When I first installed mine it felt slow too. Give it a little and wait till you race a car that you had no chance of beating stock, and then it will kick in.

reason for my thinking this is, a friend of mine installed a greddy turbo kit on his rsx and it "felt" faster. we never actually raced but his car did feel like it pulled harder... and i figure that the S2000 is much faster than the rsx in stock form..

This might be a poor comparison. A turbo puts the grunt down low while a S/C puts the grunt up high.

mines dont feel fast either if that makes you feel better. i dyno 289 so yes, my engine's good. SilverS2k4's right. you dont realize it's quick til you race something else to compare it with.

I had the Comptech SC with no other mods to speak of for a while.

But I expect your issue is one of perception. The S with SC doesn't have much low down torque so you don't get the same rush as a turbo. You can however. Drive along in 2nd gear at about 5000rpm. The floor it. You'll have VTEC and boost almost instantly and in the low gear you will feel the difference.

That said, it seldom feels like a turbo. Even though my LoveFab kit only peaks 3Kw higher than my upgraded SC the feeling is totally different.

I have no other mods and thought it was pretty noticable when I put the S/C on.
