When i added my vortech the car felt much faster than before.I think you're expecting that turbo rush at a much lower rpm like in you're friends turbod rsx.If you want that neck snapping thrust hold it in first or second at around 6k and then floor.Theres you're turbo rush now!!!

I did research before the install. I got the impression that the sc wouldn't feel like a turbo/none centrifugal sc and wouldn't kick in until later, so in the end it didn't surprise me when i drove it after the install. maybe that's the reason some people are disappointed. they expect this great push from the sc as if it's a roots charger or turbo.

If anyone is disappointed with their centrifugal SC then they didn't do their research before investing in the parts. All the data is out there, from dyno plots to owner testimonials. The centrifugal design WILL make your S2000 faster, but only in the last 3,000ish rpm before redline.

That said, I still think it is worthwhile to at leat get the car dyno'd to see what kind of power you're making. You know, to make sure the install went in correctly.

only have a vortech and exedy clutch in mine, everything else is stock, even exhaust. and i tell you what i drove a stock ap1 after driving mine and the stock one was at least a gear behind what mine is (when i'm in 4th the stock is in 3rd).

it will be fine stock, just upgrade the clutch. the stock exhaust flows really good

If anyone is unhappy with the sc they have installed I can help you. Just sell to me really cheap, I will install it on my s and then you wont have to be unhappy and I can be happy enough for both of us.

The reason why you don't FEEL the car is faster is, because you FEEL torque, not horsepower. Since the SC has a LINEAR torque/horsepower delivery, the whole car accelerates very smooth and you don't get the tuebo kick in your a$$ you are looking for...that's why I waited and waited and waited till I desided to go turbo.

That's because you put on a kit meant for a car with a 9000 rpm redline onto a car with an 8000 rpm redline. You're not getting to full boost because you are shy about 1000 rpm.
