Thumbs down Anybody try datalogging with Series 2 EMS?

So, I was trying to do some datalogging today and everytime the car went past 6,000rpms or so it would freeze the AEM Tuner software and show it was not connected. We would have to close out the program and re-open to view the live data stuff, but it would simply not datalog anything past 6,000RPMS (i guess because it disconnected everytime)

Anybody see this issue with the Series 2? I don't mine updating the tuner software for ,my laptop but I dont want to touch anything, or update anything on the EMS, as I have heard of the box getting fried and AEM not doing anything about it.

On a side not while cruising today the Intake temp went from like 135F down to 70F (hot out today, around 80ish) with just a little bit of WOT to get the Meth spraying

Joey, this is an issue with your cable and/ or the cable software.
My first cable I bought on the Internet did the same thing. I then bought the one from radioshack and it worked!
I have had problems with my radioshack cable where I was loging and my bettery ran out or I shut my laptop and both times again it would freeze in high RPMs. This was fixed by removing and then reloading the cable software on my laptop.

First try to remove then reload the cable software and then test it out.

It that fails to solve the problem, go buy the more expensive cable from radioshack like I was forced to do.

Series 2 uses regular USB, no more need for serial to USB software.

I'm willing to bet that if you have non resistor plugs in the car, this may be the problem.
