Anyone ever make an intake manifold?

Keep us posted. I'll be starting the same thing next week with my intake manifold. I'm using a 5in plenum, I will also cut the runners in the same spot. I can't wait to compare.

I picked up intake plenum from a guy who had built one for his time attack S2000. It's built from Burns tubing and has raised velocity stacks in an enlarged plenum. It's got a Q45 throttle body and will connect to 3inch charge piping. I'll post some shots of it when i get home.

Now that this project is actually coming together let me know what you guys think...worse? better? throttle body too big?

My set up- AP1, AEMv1, Kings performance sidewinder, 6262, ARP headstuds, stock headgasket, stock valvetrain w/ AP2 intake retainers, slightly ported/polished head, Hondata intake manifold gasket, Tial BOV, 44mm Tial wastegate, precision intercooler, 3' exhaust with dual magnaflow mufflers.

This is what we did with mine. We chose to keep the factory floor, honda did a really good job with the transition from the plenum floor to the runners and I didnt feel like we could do much better with out way more work than what I wanted to do.

Its a q45 throttlebody.. 85 or 90mm.. I can't remember

I only drove about 30 miles w/this manifold on the car. Throttle response was very good and it didn't really seem to drive much different than stock
