Anyone running 4.77 with supercharger?

Default Anyone running 4.77 with supercharger?

I have 4.77s and love them. A lot of people are running the 4.57 with boost but does anyone have 4.77s with boost? What are your impressions?

Not me, but I've seen a few posted here. Wait for them to show up. From what I gather ...................... blink and you'll miss 1st gear.

^haha... it's already like that! When doing roll on's with other cars I'll ride around 5-6k and punch it, and often hit the rev limiter because it goes by SO fast

4.77's might be too much gearing. What kind of HP are you shooting for?

I ran 4.77's w/ my CTSC. They were very aggressive for that setup. First gear was basically useless, but after that, they pulled hard. Probably a little too agressive IMO, but usable if you've already got 'em.

Thanks for the input guys. Do you think I'll end up just driving around in 2nd gear?

I'm looking to go with 7 pounds of boost using a VAFC2 and stock injectors. I'm guessing with my mods I should be just over 300 rwhp right?

with comptech 7 psi boost, you might get a little over 300 whp.

I think that 4.77's will be too much for FI, you might be able to do a direct swap with another user with 4.57's

Again, thanks for the input I'll drive it for a bit and see how I like it. If it's too much I'll look into a 4.57/4.44 swap with someone.

I have 4.77's and turbo. I had the 4.77 first because I had no intention of going FI. But since I had it already I just kept them because I didn't want to go through the hassle of swapping back. Just so you know... I rarely go WOT in 1st... usually 2nd and up. It's THAT quick. I am always contemplating on going back just because everyday driving is a hassle...
