Default Anyone try e85 with a supercharger yet?

Ok so I live in the Midwest and e85 is readily available. I have a SOS supercharger with 12 psi pulley. I have upgraded the pump and am running a boost a pump that increases voltage with boost.

Question is, has anyone done e85 on their s2k with a supercharger? Ill be runng 825cc injectors.

Any help suggestion are appreciated.

My tuner is big on mustangs and camaros with returnless fuel systems and they love e85!

ILoveMYHonda1984: What size pulley are you using for 12psi on your AP2?

Ill have to measur it and get back to you. SOS said its the same size they used on the d sport challenge car.

What is it about the return less system that keeps it from flowing? These guys @ house of boost have a lot of experience with returnless cars and think they can work it. I'm excited to see some fresh eyes give it a go round and not just repeat what they've read on here. Ice talked to the techs @ SOS, Kraftwerks and king Motorsports and nobody really has much experience with it. I'm excited to try it. I can always go to a return If this doesn't work. 400hp is my goal and I won't boost more than 12psi. That's already on the extreme for a stock block.

Ill post more tonight when I know more.

Only 400WHP, then you won't need e85. 93 pump gas will be just fine. Hell, Jeremy put down 471 on 91 pump gas on a stock block with a returnless fuel system.

12psi on a stock block is not extreme. I'm doing e85 on a stock block and shooting for 600WHP on my '07. We'll be north of 12psi for sure.

I don't know if they still say it but SOS and Hondata used to say 400WHP was the limit of the returnless fuel system. Well, it's not. You can get 490- 510WHP on 93 octane with the returnless fuel system.

BTW - the returnless fuel system will not support my needs.

well didnt make the tune today. Got a late start. Added the 850cc injectors that are actually stock from a Shelby GT500, haha. I have Ford parts on my car. Then I put on the SOS 3 bar map and wired up the boost a pump. Did a street tune just getting it richened up. My tuner will take his turn in the morning. We are tuning on 92. Should be good. Im halfways wanting more boost already. I wonder what the max safe boost is on this motor with a supercharger? Im down for more, as long as its not going to kill it too quickly.

Ill post more tomarrow

made 386hp and 262tq at 7750rpm. Im not sure why my tuner didnt take it a little higher. I made 10psi at the manifold. I have a 3in pulley, the smallest one offered by SOS for the 1220 Paxton, going on Monday. I will take my car over to the dyno Monday afternoon and have them touch up the tune and dyno it again. This time I will go to 8200-8400 or so, just to show what it is capable of. I typically shift at 7800 or 8000. From the way the dyno graph appears, I would have made 400 wheel right at 8000rpm this time. Another 1 psi pf boost and cooler temps next week should show good numbers.

No e 85 at this point. Fuel pump wil need to be upgraded again to do that.

The car drives awesome. Juts amazing. 100mph comes so quickly now. I couldnt imagine what this car with 500whp would be like. Ill post more monday evening.
