I am currently in the process of adding a Novi1000 to my F22. I have a list of supporting mods that I believe will make a good build but was also concerned of which clutch set up would be ideal. I'm currently running a fipk, hks hp single, berk 70mm test pipe, and AEM infinity. I also have AEM uego and oil pressure fail safe gauges. With conservative timing up top, we were able to squeeze out 220whp and 151 wtq on a mustang dyno. The goal on the set up will be 400whp.
Current list of supporting mods to buy:
ID 1000's
walboro 255
AEM fuel rail
AEM fpr
AEM flex fuel sensor
ACT HD PP
OEM friction disc
Possibly colder plugs
I feel as if 400+ whp isnt out of the question running E85 but I am also concerned if the clutch set up will be able to hold the added torque.
Thanks for the input!

Reason: Typo
I would change out your flywheel while ur changing ur clutch out and I would consider going with a aeromotive 340lph instead of the walboro 255. And a upgrade headers. Everything else is fine
With a piggyback and mostly just because > novi 1k, I dont think youll reach your goal
That clutch n setup should be fine, even on E
Nice #'s on the stang dyno.
I've been trying to see if anyone has posted the most their ACT / oem set up has held up to, but haven't found anything.
What piggyback are you referring to?
I've seen multiple builds of people in the ~360whp range on 93 with a novi1000. I feel like 400 wheel on E should be possible with a small pulley like a 3.4 and some semi aggressive timing
Well i finally got my car together and tuned. Current set up:
CT-E Novi1000
3.5" pulley (~9.5psi)
70mm test pipe
1 step colder NGK plugs
ID1000's
AEM 320 pump (with SOS rewire)
ACT HD PP and disc
11lb flywheel
AEM infinity
The dotted lines are my baseline power levels with OEM ecu, k&n fipk, test pipe and HKS hipower single. The solid lines are after the supercharger install. The power with this set up is fantastic but I'm still wanting to reach the 400whp level so I just ordered a new boost / fuel set up.
AEM flex fuel inline sensor
AEM fuel rail and pressure regulator
AEM fuel pressure sensor
3.0" pulley with new belt
Hopefully with the added boost and flex fuel I can make it over the 400hp mark.
I wish it was as easy as buying a Novi1200. If I was to spend the money on that I would rather get the 1500 for only a few dollars more and get the proper bracket. That will probably the end result in the future but for the time being I'll see what I can squeeze out of this little baby 1000.

I hate to be this honest with you....don't waste your money chasing, save your money, then buy what will definitely get you to your goal. Unless fully maxing out your current setup is your thing. Even then, for you to max your current setup out, you'd need larger injectors, smaller pulley, full exhaust, e85 and a reasonably aggressive tune, quick pricing all that, either the 1200 or 1500 is logical
