I don't know if I would consider a flex fuel set up as "chasing" the goal as it would be prepping for a kick ass set up in the future. I already have ID1000's and have ordered the 3.0 pulley with all the flex fuel parts. I should be able to get some pretty decent numbers from the flex fuel and eventually I will upgrade to a more efficient blower. I won't be devastated if I don't make the 400whp mark because no matter what I'm going to enjoy driving the car. Also, I don't think an aftermarket header will supply any extra power given all the research others have done with no real gains.

be careful on the 3.0 pulley, if you do make decent numbers, they will be handicapped due to belt slip(been there done that) flex fuel does help but is more effective with a efficient set-up. Also there are tons of gains (midrange torque and efficiency) from a full exhaust, this is coming from a guy that changed his oem header last on his sos sc kit.

Good to know and I will keep the header in mind. What did you do to combat the belt slip on the 3" pulley? Another reason I'm holding off on the better blower is I don't have the cash to throw at an upgraded diff at the moment. Wouldn't be any good to make decent power and have it fail. I just read through your build, very nice. I'm curious how that magnaflow will sound and perform. I went with to a single because i couldn't handle the drone of my Greddy SE dual (plus I figured a single is better for FI.)

Wouldn't be any good making good power and have no way to put it down or worst case have it fail. I just read through your build, very nice. I'm curious how that magnaflow will sound and perform. For the belt slip issue, I will be addressing it with a custom machined ASP crank pulley. For my set up, I'm using a 3.4sc pulley with a 6.0 ASP crank pulley, with a 8.5k redline should net me 17/18psi with enough belt wrap to limit if not eliminate belt slip.

Finally got around to installing my flexfuel components and hit the dyno. 4 pulls later and here we are...

I must say my tuner is definitely up and coming and is highly skilled. If you or anyone have tuning needs reach out to Cody.

Stock F22
Novi1000
AEM infinity
AEM 320
ID1000's
AEM rail and FPR
AEM Ethanol sensor
E85 (current content was only 78%)

I know the Novi1000 is outdated and isn't really used in production kits anymore, but from what I've seen on the power chart threads this is the highest powered Novi1000. Not to mention it was done on a very low reading mustang. Typically "stage 2" STi's with a Cobb OTS map are only putting down around 280whp. I think this on a dynapack or dynojet would be knocking on the door of 450whp.

Also, this dyno sheet has not had ANY smoothing applied. With smoothing applied it looks fake like it was made on Microsoft Paint lol. The tune Cody Pincura has put on this is practically flawless. Lambda AFR correction is almost always zero and will deviate max 2%

The highest # I've ever hit on an SAE corrected DynoJet with Novi1000, 3" pulley and test pipe was 365WHP with all of the cooling mods including SOS HE. Maybe if I didn't run E-Manage Ultimate I'd hit 380WHP... maybe.

You'd need all of the supporting mods with 93 octane to hit 400WHP with Novi1000.

I can't tell but what is your vtec set at? Looks in the 5k range. Also what's the duty cycle of your injectors
