did you test to see if you'll get water in your intake with that hood?

I got the same hood and just worried about hydrolock since on stock setup, i see water gathering right on top of the stock air box.

 

i have the same hood and have driven in the rain before. If you look down into the vent, the filter is not directly under any of the vents. Seems ok.

 

I've driven in horrible rain and never had a problem. Even when I had my K&N FIPK that sat DIRECTLY underneath one of the vents, it was still fine

 

Well, I just opened the Boxes to both my Greddy Turbo Kit, and my Invidia V3 Exhaust . I just ordered the Greddy iridium tune ISO8 plugs and have the Mobil 1 standing by, I CANT WAIT UNTIL NEXT WEEKEND. I get done with work Wed at 10:30am, then I have off Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday...........Should be enough time for the Greddy Kit, as well as Tranny & Differential FLuid change, oh boy I am excited, also My OEM Lip is on its way, all I need now is a Tune , and a Test Pipe, Springs and a Boost Controller...........

i see. The Aux. output map on both ap1 and ap2 basemaps are like this because the kit does not change the vtec engagement point. Vtec still works, it's just not wired through the harness to be able to change vtec, thus the map also shows 'off' on all cells. Vtec is still fully functional, since the wiring hasn't been changed. Hope that helps.

 

eye see...so you're saying VtaK has not been changed from 6k..

 

Where did you guys put you gauges? Did you get one of thsoe A Pillar things?
