Default Asura Design 3" Hi Flow Catalyst

UPDATE***
Production pics:

Constructed from TIG welded- mandrel bent 304 stainless steel, our 3" high-flow catalytic converter is emissions compliant without restricting flow as an OEM catalyst does.

These high-flow cats mate up directly to all after-market and factory exhaust manifolds and exhaust systems. A new exhaust side gasket and hardware will be provided.

There are two bungs for oxygen sensors. One for the factory secondary oxygen sensor, and another outlet for a wideband oxygen. If you have opted to not have a wideband on your car, the second bung is conveniently placed for more accurate air-fuel ratio monitoring while tuning on the dyno.

You comments, questions and feedback are valued and welcome.

Regards,
Asura

They will be $285 for the up coming group buy.

Glad you guys like it, with CHP cracking down, it's nice to have to be emissions legal.

The wideband bung is not in the correct location IMO. Should be before the catalyst and not after it.

It was also my understanding that any after market cat was not legal in California...

"Please note that it is illegal to remove a properly functioning catalytic converter and that aftermarket catalytic converters are not legal for installation in California on OBD II vehicles (some 1994 & 1995, and all 1996 and later vehicles)."
