Default atp inconel, dei or coat

Hi, I am looking into buying heat management for my full blown sidewinder with GTX3582r. I am debating if inconel is the best heat management money can buy. I do not know if it is true. If it worked so well, why doesn't the fastest S in the world use inconel? (Kp red s2k). Inline pro said they never use it either. So if reputable shops don't use it, it must be a waist of money (it is very very expensive btw). Now DEI seems more main stream, but if I wrap I woul like to go with authentic Garrett blanket and the dp +mani would be wrapped in DEI. I already got my sidewinder ceramic coated by craft works (famous Bisi gets all his stuff coated there btw) They have the fastest bug in the world and told me, they never used inconel and they said wrap is ugly looking lol, but keep in mind these guys run exposed motors air cooled engines lol. At the end of the day, I am gonna use kp air duct and vent my hood and have dp ceramic coated along with turbine housing and of course the mani is already coated. Do you guys think if I vent the hood, use kp air duct bumper mount and ceramic coat I should be ok? I heard my set up on the S gets extremely hot. Should I wrap to? I like the show car look and don't wanna wrap if I don't have to.

Do you have heat problems currently? Have you melted anything?

I would imagine drag cars don't use it because they don't have prolonged heat in the engine bay. The car stays on for 10-15 min at a time?

dont get caught up in "fastest in the world" stuff. as PHill24 said, a drag car doesnt really need any coatings and/or heat wraps.

I appreciate that.. I was kinda thinking that as well. I am a drag dude not a track road racing enthusiast. I do drive my S once a week to the beaches and cruise to meets/regular long drives etc. Do you think I'll be fine just with the coat and kp air duct/vented hood for my goals? If the inconel will keep my engine alot cooler than any other product, I will definitely pay the 1k for the inconel if it worths its.

So do you have a blanket or did you just coat the housing? I like the look without the blanket, but if necessary I'll slap a blanket on. I was gonna send my parts to jet hot or swain, but john from car craft told me jet hot uses the same material they use. I paid 145.00 for mani, 35bucks for turbine housing, 45.00 for dp coating. So like 225.00 total. Jet hot uses same material, but wanted me to send my parts a thousand miles and charge like 600.00!! Car craft like 10 minutes from my house so I went with them. They seem honest and have 7 sec car. I did hear swaintec is by far the best coating out there hans down, but my set up cannot rock the white color. I hope I did the right thing. I don't wanna take any short cuts in my build.
