Went for a quick spin tonight. I have hardrace engine and tranny mounts so there is already a lot of engine feedback through the steering wheel and shifter. It did feel however that there were more vibrations transferred through to the shifter with these mounts. Not anything obnoxious or rattling, but just a more connected feel.

The car also seems to feel more solid and planted. Can't really comment on better or worse traction as its really humid and just finished raining all day so traction wasnt the greatest. However the car appears to have less torque steer and drives in a straight line while spinning the tires more so than the oem mounts. I was getting pretty good traction given the road condition so we'll see how it performs in the middle of a hot sunny day.

I think the biggest improvement and you guys can chime in here if you can better explain what im about to describe. When you are under heavy load my car tends to want to turn to the left and rear end feels like its twisting. With these mounts you get less of that rear end twist it seems and the car does not try to drive to the left.

I'll update more later

are these physically much different than the hasports mounts? will the hasports mounts work with your 8.8 kit?

No updates on the engine mounts yet guys. The hasport mounts will work with our rear end kit. I haven't see the hasports in person, but if they are designed around a stock diff, then our kit will work.

Can anyone comment on pros and cons of going more or less stiff with durometer rating?

What are you guys using?

I've heard of that happening with the Hasport mounts. fwiw, I didn't have any issues with my FBM/Avid rear diff mounts:

Send an email to Franklin; he's Avid's sales manager and is pretty responsive.
