Bad Experience With PeakBoost

Very mature way to deal with people.
Seen this a quite a few times on various forums. Good sponsor/ vendor goes bad. Bites off more than they can chew, runs into problems. Continues to take peoples money when they know they cant deliver the goods as promised. Imaginary deadlines or no communication at all. The only way it gets resolved is to call them out on the forums.
They should at least give you a realistic time frame, XYZ amount of days before you get your stuff. Sorry I know its a long time to wait, if you want to cancel the order I'll refund your money.
Been so busy to log in. Thanks for all the input guys. Yes, this project has been frustrating, especially not making my goal to have my car running by this summer. I am going to contact Better Business Bureau and my credit card company again to see how I can get my money back. I would rather return the whole kit and buy something else. What happens if the manifold cracks, how long will it take to receive a new one, 2 years?
I don't know the exact guidelines for lawsuits, but my guess is you would have to file a lawsuit at the court that corresponds to the city where his business is.
Now, what a lot of these inconsiderate people do is they hide behind their business name, so when lawsuits come in they can declare bankruptcy. So if possible, it's best to sue their person. Use their actual name as defendant. If anyone with legal background can give us his opinion/feedback - that would be much appreciated
The problem for you would be the distance, it may be difficult/costly to get a day off from work and travel to AZ to file a lawsuit and then go a 2nd time for the actual court day.
Hopefully Peakboost has some sense of honesty and delivers what has been paid for, though after 8 months it doesn't seem to be heading that way.

if u were in AZ like me, you could stop by and ask him in person. People don't have a phone to hide behind, and the story usually changes real quick when you are face to face.
Kinda weird it seems like the exact same story with me... I ordered my kit over 4 months ago. (probly closer to 5) and was told it would take up to 2 months to finish and shit and that was just to alot more time just in case. After foreve i got a little impatient and apparently the turbo I wanted was unavailable, so i said send me the kit withought turbo no biggi. Then I had the same "powder coating issue" as well...then it was alot more back and forth bs and finally I saw some light at the end of the tunnle...after 4 1/2 months he gave me a tracking number and said it wud be shipped out tomo!!! : ) Well 2 1/2 weeks later the trackin number still says "shipping info recieved" So I take it my kit never made it to fedex and now Im getting no response through the phone, email, or facebook as I was before. WTF I can basicly kiss being boosted this summer goodbye which pisses me off becasuse If i knew I had to wait all winter too I would have just peiced together some bigger insane kit. Honestly Im at the point now its like I just want my kit in my lap tomarow or my money back so I can go with a kings performance sidewinder : )
Ya that was long but I needed to vent to. I;ve been beyond patient and now to not even get a response?? F that. Ive used peakboost before and wanted to keep using them in the future. For that to happen I would definitly need my parts in a timly matter from now and some kind of reinbursement or somthing because this is just ridiulous. 5 month?? I could learn to tig weld over again order parts from scratch and make my own kit in 5 months lol
aaaahhh FML it was easier to get parts for my civic
