Default Bad gas milage

I recently finished my blower install and I went through my first full tank of gas in 185 miles...

Right after a mod like this, you tend to be on a "power" high and you're punching it at every opportunity. Once this initial urge to "giver 'er" wear off a bit, you should start to see better fuel economy (that is, if you really even care about that sort of thing). Stay off the boost and the car should behave almost like it did before.

After my initial Power High.... I actually started to hit vtec less after being boosted... but it should taper down to 3-5 mpg less than stock....

When my car was NA and otherwise stock, I was getting 39.9 miles to the Canadian gallon. Now, with the Vortech and 4.44 gears, on the same stretch of highway (300 miles long), I can only get 34.9. I can't say how much the gears come into play to reduce the fuel economy as they both went on before I did another highway trip.

Try a SC and 4.77's. Now THAT'S going to hurt my MPG!! As long as I can make it up to Reno from Sac during SacS2KDays w/o having to fill up, I will be happy.
