Default Bad news

So went to the dyno today got all the little issues I had out with tuning. As we're trying to get the coolant bleed which took along time we notice white smoke out of the exhaust. After a while it continued to worsen, most likely it's a head gasket although idk how cause I use oem Honda hg and torqued in the right sequence and the right tq setting. Both the block and head were milled an the car was barely ran so there deff not warped due to an overheat. Anyway I basically done I have no more time or care. How much do you think it's worth to sell as a whole just so I can get a ballpark idea. 00 silverstone, trackforged turbo kit, 157k on chassis, rpf1s, the list goes on and on. Anyway just trying to get a ballpark it sucks so bad

Damn fix it man, you going to take a big loss on it... Or part out... You going to have lowballers under 10k... Do a compression test ect. Take a break from it

With all the money and time spent you would give up now because of a head gasket issue? You must not really want it bad enough.

Don't breath a work he stated here ^. Some people just don't know how it feels till they have it done to them. I went threw 3 motors, 3 turbo kits and $20,000 and I gave up and parted it all out. Im now back to NA and I love that I can jump into my car and drive it whenever I want. Yes it sucks but you need to do what feels right to you , not what other people say.

and to the statement (You must not really want it bad enough)... Why don't you get your hands dirty and pay for all the work for him? Some people just run into crap with their cars as others don't. Unless you live it, you will never know!!!

To the OP.. GL with your build or your part-out. We all will support you no matter what you do.

Yeah if he can spend 10k on a built motor and turbo kit I think he can afford to change out the head gasket so I think my statement was pretty accurate. Just about everybody in this forum has had their share of problems but thats just part of the experience. I'd be more than happy to help change the head gasket too....

dont give up.. I had a blown motor, built a fully built turbo kit, and motor, tuned it, drove it a block and stuck 2 pistons, had to start over.. I am now running good.. Have had some problems with my waistgate but it is totally worth the hassle to drive the car and smoke someone that had NO IDEA WHAT THEY WERE ABOUT TO RACE!!!

ps. all of this within 8 months...

good luck.. hope you stick it out.

You'll never know how close you were to success if you quit!

Keep trying don't throw in the towel!
