Thanks guys. I'll keep this updated once or few times a week with updates about how the battery is doing. Its getting colder here in FL, so we'll see how it does on colder mornings. Worst morning so far was a days ago like I stated earlier, 40 degrees and the car sat for 3 days prier. Weak start at first but started good after the 4th try. I can tell the batterys CCA increases as it gets hotter from a draw.
Damn, 40 is warm up here this time of year. No chance this would last in my car
I'm from Ohio, I know exactly what you mean lol. Its rated just over 400cca, it may work up north. My original lead acid was around the same at 410cca. They also make a 16cell which is rated over 500.

It took a few tries. Luckily I bought a pack of 10 ring terminals. I wrapped solder around the the wire, put clips inside the terminal cups and put thin pieces in between the copper wire strands. If they come loose, I'll just buy a crimping tool. I also used a mapp gas torch to solder them. Just don't use the whole flame though. Mapp gas is hotter then propane and butane and can melt the copper.

Thanks. The breaker I got off ebay. They're pretty cheap and unlike fuses, you can just reset it instead having to replace a fuse that you may not have on hand if it pops while you are out someplace.

for going with the breaker. Sure it's more expensive than a fuse, but you're also not going to get stranded on a highway with no 150amp fuse to back it up. You're not finding those at a hardware store!

That battery is really small! Nice install as well. All of these stuff scares me out of relocating mine so hopefully I can get away with turning my battery and fuse box up against the fender.

It's definitely worth doing for the added piece of mind. Plus, there is so much information throughout s2ki, and members willing to answer questions, you could easily knock this out

Quick little update. Car hasn't moved or been started since Wednesday. Went to start this morning, very slow crank at first and no start. Turned on the headlights and radio for about 5mins, tried again, started up after about 7-9 cranks. Drove about 2 miles down the road to Starbucks, turned off and went inside, when I left, started right up after 2 cranks. Battery seems to recharge great after a small drive.

Don't forget, Aem requires a certain amount of voltage to start.

Whats the amount? I wasn't aware of this, I know before the battery install, it had crank issues sometimes. It's been that way since my NA tune last year.

Was going to mention this.

My Haltech seems like the thing won't fire unless it's on a brand new battery
