Thumbs up Base Turbo map for AEM EMS

I am about to start my car up soon and I want to know if anyone with a turbo setup would help with a base map for my car, so I don't have to use the stock configuration for startup. I realize that not everyone's setup is the same, but I rather start with something closer than a stock map. Any help would be appreciated.

I am using the EMS (version 1052u) with a 3.5 bar map sensor and
660cc greddy injectors.

For some reason unknown to me, s2ki folks are real tight with their AEM maps. As soon as I get mine on the dyno for final tuning, I'll post it for anyone who cares to give it a try.

thanks... fperra
I talked to user timq and he agreed to hook me up with something rough but better than a stock map. I seen him around the AEM forum.
Thanks...

I can understand why some people are tight with EMS maps.
Here's the 2 big reasons reasons:

They don't want to be held liable for a failure in someone else's car.

Tuning costs to get a running map can be many $1000's Not something you want to hand out for free.

I am still going to have to tune the car anyway, I just wanted to see if someone was willing to help.
I wish AEM would at least supply a decent turbo map for the money I paid for the ems...knowing that most of the folks that get an ems don't get it because their stock. wishful thinking I guess.

When do you need the maps i might be able to help you. My setup is a little wilder than that though. I am running a big turbo and 1100 cc injectors. If i can help you at all, let me know.

In some cases, it's the tuner who's uber-protective of his work product...not the customer. I know that's def true in my case. It's like pulling teeth for me to get my maps.

I also agree with what others have said re: tuning costs. It's kind of hard to justify giving someone a map for free when you've just spent $1000 for a day's worth of dyno/street time with your tuner.

For those of you who tune yourselves, I envy you. And your generosity in giving away your maps for free is admirable...and very much appreciated I'm sure.

I can understand a tuner who doesn't want his customer to share the MAP, because, after all, that's how he makes some of his bread and butter. But since it is the customer who bought the service, the MAP is now his property. He can do as he wishes with it - keep it secret, sell it, or give it away. Of course, if he signed a contract with the tuner which specified that it remained the property of the tuner with exclusive rights of useage given to the customer, well, that's another story. But I doubt that's ever the case.

In my case, I think I've developed a pretty good boost comp map, but a little dyno time is still in order to finish it off. When that is done, I'll be glad to share with anyone interested. Of course it will come with a disclaimer stating that it was developed specifically for my car and I will accept no responsibility for any damage thats results from it's use. Someone else's map should only be used as a starting point, and only if the engine builds are similar.
