Default Battery relo to trunk

i did this years ago and use a big ass fuse on the main line to the front. I want to swap it for a resettable breaker. What does everyone use?

I carry extra fuses just in case but figure a breaker is the better way to do it.

Given the availability of a 5# battery that functions fine in our vehicles (Shorai) ... I'd just put one of those in the stock location. You'd pull a LOT of weight out of your car. The stock battery, and the big cables to get to the engine bay from the trunk ... and regain trunk space.

I've gone to the trouble of moving the battery into the trunk of a lot of my previous vehicles, for all of the obvious reasons, but I've got a Shorai in the S2K for 6 months now, and it works fine.

I already have it relocated for the last few years with zero issues. Can't put the battery you reference up front cause a giant divided side winder turbo manifold, down pipe, and other crap is in the way . I am far from concerned about a 20 lb battery sitting in my trunk when I trap over 120 in the qtr

boost takes your car off of a diet! My battery is in the trunk to and put big ass fusible link right at the battery terminal. Carry one spare but over a year so far so good. If it ain't broke do not fix it!

This is what I use:

Fosgate

I have the 200amp one, mounted very close to the battery on the negative side. Easy way to kill 12v power when working on the car. Been setup this way for 4 years, no issues
