I really hope so. It is going to be close. I leave to drive down to SC next Wednesday. The new turbo should be here Thursday or Friday

Then I will have to drive it to the tuners and pray that he has the time to get it done for me. After that I will be putting on some testing miles to make sure everything is working well before the trip.

Yea I managed to get that harness nearly all the way under the mani and up to the throttle body before I quit and pulled it all back out haha.

I'm still undecided about hardwiring the injectors. I figured I would at least give the PnP clips a try. They seem to fasten pretty well to me

Do you currently have the alternator out? Or that brace under the mani off? Cause if not, it was a lost cause from the start... the connectors won't fit unless either the alternator or mani brace is off. I did the same thing and got the connectors all the way to the end when I realized they are too big to fit. Facepalms were had.

Hey you may very well have better luck than me with those harnesses. Like I said mine worked for about a week or two. And my ID1000 harnesses have been good now for a few months *knock on wood*. You never know, I could have just had a single bad one or something.

Fingers crossed for your schedule to work out. I'm planning on joining the caravan from CLT making the day trip down there for Saturday. Hope to see you there.

Sweet! I will definitely be there. The real question is whether the car will make it or not haha.

The manifold brace is off but it would have been easier if the top alternator bolt was out. I just ran out of patience and decided against it

Thanks!

I got the timing chain cover off today. I can't seem to get the a/c condenser detached from the oil pan to allow it to fall down. I removed the two long bolts that seemed to attach the condenser to a "foot" on the side of the pan.

Gotta turn in for the night though. I will have to figure it all out tomorrow

The seal on the pan has been broken so it has to be removed fully so that I can clean it up and put new RTV on it.

How is the 5858 treating you? I really want one but I keep reading reviews how precession would throw smoke a lot and not so reliable. Leaning more towards BW S360 or a used garret 30r
