Default BDL throttle body stickyness

I just got the bdl throttle body (70mm). When you get them there is the option of single or double wind on the spring. I selected single wind for better throttle modulation.

So I get it and it sticks. Switch it to a double wind... still sticks.

Return it to BDL (great customer service by the way really good guys over there) they check it over reassemble it and send it back to me.... (Single wind) Still sticks.

I send it back and they send me a brand new one. Set for single wind. Sticks worse than the first one.

I set it for double wind and also try to clean it up a bit (remove burrs etc.) still sticks.... Am I having serious bad luck here or have other people experienced this?

My cable is fine. I have never had any issue with my stock throttle body. I think the culprit is in the return spring. Everything else seems fine it moves freely until I put the spring on it and try to run the car with it.

P.S. The stickiness is happening at initial throttle opening. Sticks at around 3000rpm

Thanks in advance for help / suggestions

are you using just the factory gasket for the tps sensor ? that was my problem with it sticking. i made another gasket and doubled the thickness. works great now. it was the tps sensor pushing on it that caused it to stick open.

So I have the stock (comptech) bov which goes right back into preboost intake. Same for the front of the valve cover line. I removed both of those from pre boost. Seems to help. Not 100% cleared up but better. Aftermarket bov? would that help?
