Default Belt Blower Shreds fast

Hey guys, so I just installed a used s/c kit several days ago by myself. I noticed that the blower belt has been shredded to half.. What are the factors that makes the belt shreds prematurely? I know something's wrong with it but I'm not sure what causes this as I'm new to S/C thing...

oh and also, I experience significant power loss on the low RPM but as it gets vtec , the rpm goes really fast.. I thought S/C boosts low to mid range rpm? is that normal for centrifugal superchargers or is it because I have FMIC setup?

Centrifugal superchargers linearly add boost as the RPMs rise with max boost at redline. In other words, it adds more power to the top end.

For the belt shredding, it sounds like it needs to be properly tensioned.

No wonder vtec feels more intense.. But if there's a low-end power loss then that would mean I've got a leak somewhere?

I just noticed that the tension pulley is misaligned, i tried reinstalling it but it's still misaligned.. Idk what happened with the bracket..

<div>Edit: misaligned like it's somehow tilted.. I'm going to post a pic later</div><div></div>

You may have a leak, but centrifugal superchargers add very little on the low end, so that's just how they systems feel. The power band still feels similar to an S2000. Linear, with more and more power as you rev it out.
