with a 2.75 you will over spin the supercharger@9k.also are you running a fmic or aftercooler?dont forget that raising the boost will also raise the temp of the air the supercharger is pushing out

5 years ago, guys were saying the most boost you could run on the stock HG safely was something like 9 psi. That went out the window.

We're already overspinning the blow with 3 inch pullies. I say do it, man. There are Mustang guys overspinning this blower for years.

exactly my thoughts there are people all over the mustang forums doing this, and it'd only be for a few seconds anyway....
for those with the smaller pulley by what rpm do you have 7psi?

By using a FMIC you are loosing at least 3psi so you should spin the Blower faster to get the same boost which adverserly produces warmer air.

Then again, if you want boost to come in earlier, you will have to overspin the blower which that again will produce even more hotter air.

Whats the point of going FMIC in the first place?!

FMIC's cool the charge air more effectively than the aftercooler setup we have. The problem is the pressure loss...

I've never understood why some s2kiers are so adamant about their aftercoolers. As far as I can see the overwhelming trend around the world in terms of forced induction is upgrading to FMICs......
