You planned to literally sell a piece of metal with a hole in it? lol

Hadn't even crossed my mind as a product, haha. I assumed everyone would just make their own, lol

Damnit, I've been trying to keep quiet about the restrictor plate tricks. The beauty of that setup is that with the plate in place even if you're spinning the blower to its limits you will actually be putting less strain on the blower and your intake charge wont be nearly as hot as it would without the plate in place. Sounds weird but it's true.

A problem I'm sure you're going to run in to however is that since you're goint to disrupt the linearity of the power/boost curve I think you will find that the rising rate FPR is no longer adequate. You're going to force yourself into need a tune I'm afraid.
well im running in the low tens before boost so i dont see why it would lean out?

It's true, someone is going to have to put a little R&D effort in to it to figure out what size hole correlates to what max CFM. The tuners who already use this strategy unfortunately are using "restrictors" that are still more power than a comptech can make, lol.

I'm sure there is probably some sort of formula out there though that would tell you exactly what size hole you would need for a given CFM.
