Tial with supercharger spring is the only one that works correctly dumping at 2psi. I know a lot of people use godzilla but the problem is that doesnt dump until 6psi so partial throttle its fully closed and boost is back feeding. You may notice air filter oil in the air box. I did with HKS SSQV. went to tial and it does work. My HKS would flutter becuase it also opened at 6-8 so decel would sound like a turkey. The tial works as it should to get rid of the boost but is really lound and I hate the sound of normal driving and partial throttle becuase all you here is psssssssssss, it sounds like my car is broken and leaking. But, thats becuase its working correctly. Im considering changing to the q-r that works like the bypass valve and sends it back into the intake. The q-r is the same unit just has a port for venting back vs dumping out but dumping 12psi back into the intake may still push filter oil out of the filter but at least you know its not surge from the blower.
So from what I learned from Jeff Evans was:
If you car about your car use tial
If you care about sound use whatever the hell you want but you may see issues due to backfeeding boost

As far as front mount, I had a ultimate racing FMIC, went to aftercooler with front mount heat exchanger for SOS and I gained about 55hp. Yea, so dont do it is what Im trying to say. Way too much boost loss. Pick up an aftercooler and a front mount exchanger. Looks the same up front anyhow.

that's great man, thanks a lot !!
now everything make sense to me lol

i'm definitely getting a tial bov with a supercharger spring now !
do you think the Q-r will make the "psssss" sound go away ? or is it gonna be the same as the Q ?

and where is the best place to buy them ?
i don't wanna buy from ebay or anywhere and get something that's fake !

You want this one:

My thoughts are the q-r will be get rid of most of that noise. I havent tried it yet but you can swap the bottom part for about $70 to go from q-r to q and/or q to q-r so its a simple change if you arent happy.

If you or anyone else runs the Q-R please send me a PM, I would love to know the outcome.

here is a video of my setup with a light throttle flick. It sounds good here and between shifts but just listen to the BOV. Thats what you will here under normal driving:

with just 10psi the stock air diverter works just fine...I think it is Bosch. I have the SC speific Tial, it is sprung correctly.

Since this all custom work anyway, I'd get the larger 1.375" outlet

Get the Q if you dont mind the sound.

^ Same, it does make that annoying hiss most of the time though while its not under boost. Im almost ready to remove it all together because it seems as if it serves no function other than to make the pssssssst after you let off the throttle. I originally got it because I thought the bosch valve was too weak for 10psi but man i was dead wrong.
