I prefer Amsoil because is has a higher TBN at 12.1 and is full synthetic, but you pay a premium price for such good oil. Brad Penn oil is a semi-synthetic and it's TBN is 10.6 I believe. Still a respectible number, but not as good as Amsoil. I also run the Amsoil 10w40 since the bearing clearances on the stock engine are very tight at .0007"-.001" and change it between 750-1000 miles or once a year. I'm making around 780 whp on e85 btw.

Just go to Amsoil.com. That's the only place to order it online that I know of and if you purchase the $20 yearly membership, you save like 20% on the products. Bad thing with Amsoil though is the shipping kills you. I now just purchase it from a local race shop at about the same price with shipping through amsoil, but without the 4 day wait. Best value is to just spend the $120 or whatever and purchase the case of 12 qts. You'll basically get almost 2 qts free over purchasing just a few quarts at a time when the shipping eats you, etc. The s takes something like close to 6.5 qts if I remember right. That's about what mine takes anyway, with my filter relocation kit.

Amsoil is about the best oil you can use, so if your rings and valve seals are in order, you shouldn't burn a drop of it.

I use Brad Penn myself. After tearing down the motor when I had that mishap this April and seeing how it looked, I'm sold. I think I paid around ~$100 bucks for 12 quarts, 6 break in qrts, and 6 sae30 qrts.
