Best oil for E-85?

Yeah you need something with a high TBN and high zinc content. The acids in e-85 break down the oil you need an oil to protect from this.

Mobil 1 is terrible in the s2000. Even N/A you burn a lot. Mobil TBN is around a 7 I think, while amsoil is 12.1 and brad penn is 10.6. The zinc content In amsoil is 1200. Brad penn is around 1250.

In case you arent aware, there is more than 1 type of mobil1, and the one I indicated has a TBN of >10.

turbo diesel truck mobil 1 10w40 is what I'll be using, until my first oil change, I might switch to brad penn

There ya have it, Rotella has 1400 ppm of ZDP, so it's the best cheap alternative

I change my oil every 800-1000 miles. I meant does driving the car more than 1500 miles a year speed up the wear process significantly? I don't know anyone who daily drives with it, but some of those evo guys use it 24/7
Absolutely not IMO. Driving the car more than 1500 miles a year shouldn't speed up the wear process at all if you change the oil regularly.

Exactly! And that's why Amsoil is pretty much the best to run.
