Default Best way to clean intercooler fins?

I just came back from a coast to coast trip and the intercooler is full of bugs. I even pulled a freaking bird out of it!!

Anyways, is there anything I can use to clean this thing? Take it off and hot tank it? any chemicals?

I was thinking either hot tank the thing or use that foam spray used to clean AC coils.

Some pics:

Thanks, J

Probably be easiest to take it out and hot tank it if you can afford the downtime

Joaquin, I had the same problem when I got home, and my intercooler fins were also somewhat bent up, impeding air flow. I was told to get a fin straightener and do the cleaning/straightening by hand. There are different kinds, but maybe something like this: (You need to measure and determine the number of fins per square inch on the IC to insure getting the right tool.)
Doing it by hand is slow but do-able.
