S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

The only thing I would look for if I were to buy another s2k would be to make sure I got an 06+ because the tuning solutions are just SOO much easier. 00-05 tuning solutions really suck, especially if you have emissions in your state.
Why do you say that? Besides emissions Ill take a good standalone like AEM or Haltech over flash pro anyday.

Ap2 driveline parts are stronger ? Really , how so ?

differential housing is reinforced in the areas that are weak in the ap1 models.

I choose Hondata over AEM for a multitude of reasons, hi/low cam maps, more resolution, stock-like start up, Honda accel/decel algorithms, retain OBD2 capabilities and CELs. Haltech is a good option, but again, the simplicity and convenience of flashpro trumps it in my book, considering all these units will tune a car just fine for what 99% of us will be doing.

They dont seem different from a visual standpoint . I have seen ap2 diffs break with only 300whp . The clutch delay valve is the helper for the Ap2 diffs imo .

Interesting, why do you say 06+ tuning is easier? Are you talking about specific roms or the actual ECUs compatable? I've heard such good things about Hondata, that's what I was planning to go with?

edit: forgot to mention, there is no smog in my homestate nor the state I currently reside in. In fact in my current state there's no vehicle inspections at all

Thanks for the input. Looks like it won't matter now, cause I just bought an AP2! lol
I found an amazing deal and simply couldn't pass it up, so I jumped on it. I won't be picking up the car for a couple months, but I'm stoked nonetheless!
Congrats!
Thanks bro, got an 04 Silverstone with 65k miles for only $13k
Can't wait to pick her up >.<

Surprised nobody mentioned the oil banjo bolts on the early ap1's vs 02+. Not all 02 s2ks got the upgraded bolts. You have to check your vin number and do a search online.

AP2 will be able to spool a bigger turbo quicker due to the extra displacement.
