Unhappy ? Better engine cooling ?

While reading the newest Import mag. I saw this clever test for better engine cooling.
The test car was a Mazda Miata.
They did the JDM hood prop thing we all see and criticize !

According to them; " Propping the hood did lower temperatures. By Earth-shattering amounts? No. But temps did drop an average of 13.5 degrees Fahrenheit all around, especially during stop-and-go traffic and highway driving".

What u guys think?
If anyone can benefit, it will be us FI people, specially the turbo guys .

clicky !!!

Just pull the rubber seal on the cowl and you will get the air flow.
